Attach the tip #4 to the bag of frosting with the green buttercream. Outline and fill in Grogu's head, minus the ears, with the frosting. It can be sloppy.
Use your palette knife to smooth Baby Yoda's head.
Remove/rinse/dry the tip #4 from the green bag and attach it to the brown buttercream bag. Outline and fill in Baby Yoda's clothes. Leave a space for the fluffy part of the outfit, as this will be added later.
Use the palette knife to smooth Baby Yoda's clothes. Next, pipe the fluffy part and sleeves of the clothes by piping up and down quickly at an angle. This is a squished version of the "back and forth method" in my beginner cookie decorating class. Remove/rinse/dry the tip #4 from the brown frosting and place it back onto the green frosting. Pipe Baby Yoda's hands by squeezing a small dot of frosting under the sleeves.
Replace the tip #4 on the green frosting with the tip #103. Pipe Baby Yoda's ears by holding the tip about 45 degrees to the cookie with the skinny side of the tip angled up. Once you get to the end/point of the ear, pipe back to the head without rotating the tip. You can play around with the angle a bit to get the appearance you want or simply just pipe the ears like the head, using a tip #4 and smoothing it with a palette knife. You can also use a palette knife to manipulate the ears into more of a point when using the tip #103.
Attach the tip #1 to the black frosting to outline and fill in the eyes. You can then smooth the eyes with the palette knife if you wish.
Remove/rinse/dry the tip #1 from the black frosting and attach it to the green to pipe the eyelid over the top of the eye. Then, pipe a dot or small line for the nose.
